Our Values

We recognise that every student is different, has different ambitions, different tastes, and is more than capable of setting their own goals.  So where do we fit in?  We make it our mission to ensure that these 4 goals are achieved:

1. Excellence

The Most important thing to us is excellence:  We demand it from all of our tutors and in turn expect to see it in our students.  An excellent return on an excellent investment!  The excellent achievements of our students is the biggest credit to us, both in examinations, performances, and overall technical progress.

2. Enrichment

Not just set up to achieve the short term goals of our students but the long term goals as well.  Each student is taught and prepared for a long musical future, whether they learn for fun, examination, or performance reasons.  In short, we don't cut corners with your learning.  We understand and promote the importance of education as a whole, not just within music.  Our students are extra-curricular, they are special and they are 'doers'.  Fully enriched.

3. Experience

As with all success, experience is key.  The experience of our teachers is paramount, and helps us to ensure that all of our students really experience something at the ACSME.  This is our ethos: our clients don't just "try out playing an instrument" - they experience it, and everything else that we can offer them: The option to experience playing in public, The experience of learning in a professional studio environment in beautiful surroundings, the experience of playing in groups with other musicians, and so on...

4. Equality

With a firm belief that music is for all to enjoy, ACSME has implemented and continues to uphold clear ethics: Never being unfair.  Never showing favouritism.  Making sure all of our students and clients have access to the same resources, the same opportunities, and the same high standards, right across the board.  We are proud to say that our students are very different - in terms of ability, personality, taste, age, origin etc.... and we wouldn't have it any other way.
